Nothing… I don’t do fashion.. and haven’t for years!

{five} if you could learn to do anything, money not being an issue, what would it be?

Tough question… there are a lot of things. Skydive would come in pretty high.

I’m not a huge wino but I’ve recently started trying. I prefer whites.

{seven} what type of food is your favorite (ex. italian, mexican, etc.)

Anything but good ol’ American. (Hamburgers & Hotdogs are overrated)

{eight} hp or mac?

I don’t have a preference.. I like my HP but I’m sure would like a Mac too

{nine} what color is your bedroom?

Light blue & brown.. (I didn’t paint it that way)

{ten} what's your favorite form of exercise?

I love running… just wish I was able to do it.. this whole elliptical/stationary bike thing is BORING!

1. People always tell me I look like .... Meryl Streep... Not someone I see myself looking like but I've gotten it alot in the past few years.. and just recently I got Hayden Panettiere.. I don't see that one either...

2. Friends don't let friends .... wear something totally unflattering, make stupid mistakes while drinking... and last but not least.. feel anything less then important and loved...

3. A sunny day is perfect for .... driving with the windows down, turning the music up loud, sippin on a cold beverage, and forgettin about everything else in the world...

4. My favorite accessory is .... my necklace from Brant, my "ruby" ring, and my watch which are daily essentials.. I like to change things up at times though..

5. If I could afford it, I would .... buy a new Subaru Legacy, travel my way through Europe and Asia, and pay off my school loans...

6. The cure for boredom is .... driving with no destination (when gas prices are cheaper), a good book or movie, the internet, and NAPPING!

7. I'm currently "in like" with .... LivingSocial & Groupon, Pad Thai, and Via Iced Coffee from Starbucks

We're going on a road trip...

Soooo..... I finally did it.. I got a blog.. now Ms Sarah Lake can be happy!

I had originally started this blog FOREVER ago and never wrote in it but I did create the title which made it way easier to have one now! I was having some troubles coming up with one, saw this, and was sold on it!

I'm going to do my absolute best to keep up to date with this but we shall see how it goes. I'm sure with constant reminders that I need a new post I should be able to manage... but let me give you a little look into my crazy hectic life...

1. I am currently in Nursing school. If I thought that doing pre-reqs were tough, GUESS AGAIN! I feel like I've learned a MILLION things and I'm only half-way through the second quarter... good news is, only 4 more quarters to go!!

2. I have not one job, but two! I don't know how I manage... or maybe thats it. REALLY good time management and a detailed planner (down to the hour.) Yay for Starbucks and Eastside Endoscopy Center

With those two.. or three things that really leaves me with no time for anything else ..BUUUUUTTTTT I do have a very very supportive boyfriend and my first post wouldn't be complete without mentioning him! Brant has had to deal with my crazy schedule starting back in January but he's been back in California for almost a month now (crazy how time is flying.. feels like it was just yesterday) and I miss him ALOT but with him being gone.. that leaves me alot of time for the first three things... Pretty boring if you ask me...

And for the title of this first post.. We're goin on a road trip... for the last almost seven years, I have been able to live periodically, temporarily, or full time with a wonderful family. The Morgan's have become my own family and have provided me with alot of things I wouldn't have had otherwise. For instance, Taeler.

I honestly think that sometimes she was put in my life to make me realize that I at times can be wayyyyyyyyy serious and need to relax and LAUGH.

Back to the "We're goin on a roadtrip"... I got home from running a few errands tonight and after she spent an INCREDIBLE amount of time in the tub, she came and sat out in the kitchen and was in quite the giggly mood.. which is fairly often for her. She's big into the Disney Channel right now and there must be a show about going on a roadtrip. At random times, she'll just be like "Hey LaLa.. Guess what" and before I even have anytime to say "What" .. she bursts out.. in song.. "We're going on a road trip" and it always catches me off guard and puts a smile on my face because really.. who could resist that face? When you ask her where we're going on a roadtrip, she lets you know her schedule and yours. Tomorrow, she is going on a roadtrip to school and gymnastics and as for me.. I'm going to school and then home so I can see her..

She's 5 and totally has everyone wrapped around her fingers. Especially Brant. She knows how to get him to do just about anything she wants. Even paint HIS fingernails!
